Soil Health Meeting & Breakfast

Please join the Maryland Department of Agriculture and ShoreRivers on January 23 for a soil health meeting and breakfast to learn about efforts toward building healthy soils in Maryland.
This event will be held from 8:30–11:30am at the Ruthsburg Community Center (105 Damsontown Road, Queen Anne, MD 21657), and include updates on current soil health programs and funding, drainage and soil health, and Maryland’s climate goals.
Speakers at the event will be Kevin Atticks, Maryland Secretary of Agriculture; Nicholas Miller, MDA Healthy Soils Program Specialist; Dana Rushovich, USDA NRCS State Agronomist; and Dr. Rachel Lamb, Senior Climate Advisor for MDE.
